In order to get the Zaurus to act as a host for USB pen drives or other external usb devices, you have to have a usb host cable and install a package.

You can get the USB host cable at IRiver. Look in their Portable Multimedia Accessories for a PMP USB Host Adapter Cable.

Then install the following package:
*automounter-c3000_0.4.5_arm.ipk – –automounter-c3000_0.4.5_arm.ipk

There is a package which allows ntfs formatted USB disks to be recognized but I was not able to get it to work with my USB external drives. You could try it:

*ntfs-zaurus_2.4.20_arm.ipk – ntfs-zaurus_2.4.20_arm.ipk
